LNRCFC Float Fly on April 17, 2015

Each month, weather permitting, the Lake Nahwatzel RC Float Club (LNRCFC) holds a Friday float fly after the Thursday club meeting. This month, April, the weather was warm and sunny and water calm at Lake Isabella, Shelton, Washington. The images in this gallery show several of the planes flown at the lake.

The gallery images below are best viewed on a large monitor. The default image size for this gallery is 1000 pixels—although you can view scaled-down images on smaller monitors, phones, and tablets. I hope you will have no difficulty in downloading and viewing them. Big images take longer to download—but smaller images just do not do justice to the subject. If some images do not load, a browser refresh usually solves the problem.

I hope you enjoy these images as much as I enjoyed taking them.

About the Images

The images were taken with a Canon Rebel T3i. I used a Canon 100mm macro lens for the images. I set the camera to shoot at a shutter speed of 1/800. All images received simple processing in Photoshop and were saved as low-resolution JPEG images that were optimized for the Web.
